1545 – 1615 Green Economy
David Cameron has put the environment on the political agenda. In this session you’ll hear from Nick Herbert, Theresa Villiers and Greg Clark on our plans for making Britain greener by tackling climate change and enhancing our environment.
1615 – 1700 A New Economic Model Britain can’t go on with the same irresponsible economic policies that failed to fix the roof when the sun was shining, giving us the biggest boom and bust, and are now threatening future jobs with more debts, more instability, higher taxes and higher mortgages. We need a new economic model with a competitive tax system, modern infrastructure like superfast broadband, investment in green technology and real support for wealth creation - not
burdening the future to pay for today. In this session you’ll hear from George Osborne, Ken Clarke and Philip Hammond.
Sunday
0930 – 1100 A New Politics
Britain can’t go on with the old style of politics that divides our country instead of uniting it.
Britain needs a strong, modern Prime Minister leading a united government. Conservatives believe in uniting the country, and working with other political parties, rather than always
looking for dividing lines. In this session you’ll have a chance to hear from the Chairman, Eric Pickles, as well as hearing from Caroline Spelman and Sir George Young.
1115 – 1230 Mending our Broken Society
We need to mend our Broken Society. We will support social responsibility and strong
families so that we mend our broken society and the crime it brings. In this session you’ll hear from the team that will lead the fight to mend our broken society. In this session you’ll hear from Chris Grayling, Michael Gove, Theresa May, Sayeeda Warsi, Dominic Grieve, Maria Miller and David Willetts.
