The Nigeria-headquartered United Bank of Africa (UBA) is applying for authorization to establish itself in Mozambique, after it concluded that the national market offered it tremendous opportunities.
UBA officials have just been to Maputo for the purpose and were received by Bank of Mozambique and CPI (Investment Promotion Centre) officials.
UBA, a bank with almost 60-year experience, is operating in more than 14 countries in Africa, America and Europe.
