Kenmare and government sign a business linkages agreement

As part of implementation of a business linkages programme under auspices of the Investment Promotion Centre (CPI), an agreement was signed in Maputo today between the Mozambican government and the international mining giant Kenmare encouraging the supply of goods and services to Kenmare’s Moma project by local companies.
Kenmare recently inaugurated its heavy mineral sand mine in district of Moma, in the northern Province of Nampula, from which it extracts the high value minerals, namely ilmenite, rutile and zircon, for export to international markets.
