EUA condenam alegado traficante moçambicano

O Departamento do Tesouro dos Estados Unidos impôs sanções contra um alegado traficante de droga em Moçambique.
De acordo com a lei dos Estados Unidos, a nomeação de Mohamed Bachir Suleman congela automaticamente os bens de três dos seus negócios na América e proíbe cidadãos americanos de negociarem com ele.

Os Estados Unidos alegam que a rede de tráfico de Suleman contribui para o crescimento do narcotráfico e das actividades de lavagem de dinheiro na África Austral.

This report to the Congress, under section 804(a) of the Foreign Narcotics Kingpin Designation Act, 21 U.S.C. 1901-1908 (the "Kingpin Act"), transmits my designations of the following five foreign individuals as appropriate for sanctions under the Kingpin Act and reports my direction of sanctions against them under the Act:

Haji Agha Jan Alizai (Afghanistan)
Haji Bando (Afghanistan)
Ousmane Conte (Guinea)
Sergio Enrique Villarreal Barragan (Mexico)
Mohamed Bachir Suleman (Mozambique)
