Dear Manuel

Season’s Greetings from the United Nations University, Tokyo.

It is our pleasure to inform you that UN General Assembly recently accorded the United Nations University (UNU) to award academic distinctions including full-time graduate degrees. Unanimous support of the Assembly assures us attaining excellence of highest order in the proposed graduate programmes and seeking strategic partnership in regional and international domains to offer solutions to some of the world’s most pressing problems.

UNU’s Tokyo based ‘Institute for Sustainability and Peace’ (UNU-ISP) conducts research; undertakes education, training and capacity development; and facilitates the dissemination of scientific knowledge and information. It develops common, integrated approaches to enabling sustainable development and strives to improve understanding of detection and prediction of factors of global change that affects sustainability.

UNU-ISP is now inviting applications for its new postgraduate programme, the Master of Science in Sustainability, Development, and Peace. Detailed information is available at URL: http://isp.unu.edu/graduate/index.html . It would be greatly appreciated, if you could disseminate this information to your colleagues and for announcements on your organizations website, newsletter, departmental/student notice boards and other sources.

We will be more than happy to facilitate further information, if required. We would like to convey our sincere thankfulness for your cooperation in this endeavor.

Sincerely,

Akhilesh Surjan
