Invitation

Dear COP-15 attendees interested in the ethical and justice dimensions of the COP-15 agenda. There will be a seminar on Thursday, December 10 from 9am to 4pm to which those who are interested in discussing the ethical and justice issues on the Copenhagen agenda are invited.

The seminar is being organized by the Collaborative Program on the Ethical Dimensions of Climate Change (EDCC) whose secretariat is the Rock Ethics Institute at Penn State University. The program will discuss ethical issues embedded in the Long-Term Vision, Emissions Reductions, Adaptation, REDD, and Technology Transfer Agenda text under discussion at the COP. EDCC works with applied ethics institutes around the world on increasing understanding of the ethical dimensions of climate change issues.

The seminar will be held at the Gentofte Hotel about 6 kilometers from the center of Copenhagen.from 9 am to 4pm.on Thursday. To get to the hotel you go on the H4 Redline to the Gentofte Station in the direction of Hofte It is about 6 stops from the Norrepport station. When you come out of the Gentofte station, cross the street and make a left on Brogordsve and the go to the first light and make a right.on Gentoftegrade Street. The Gentofte Hotel is about 300 yards on the left hand side of the street in the center of Gentofte at 29 Gentoftegade .The phone number is +45 39680911
