Most polling stations closed on time


Despite long queues earlier in the day, nearly all polling stations were able to close on time, or soon after. By law, anyone in the queue at 1800 must be allowed to vote, and in last year's local elections some polling stations were forced to stay open until midnight.


But reports from our journalists at 20.00 were that only a handful of scattered polling stations still remained open. These include:


Zavala, Inhambane: Escola Primaria de Dohó assembleia de voto numero 0961
Escola primaria completa de Chissibuca, Assembleia de voto número 0947

Gondola, Manica: Escola Macombe assembleia numero 0302
Escola Josina Machel, assembleia numero 0921

Cheringoma, Sofala: Escola Secundaria de Inhaminga, assembleia de voto número 0465
Assembleia número 0477/ 704.
