New Spanish Ambassador to Mozambique

MOZAMBIQUE - Maputo



Eduardo López Busquets, the Director-General of the Commissariat of the Zaragoza 2008 International Exhibition, will be the next Spanish Ambassador to Mozambique. If he hurries he could well celebrate his 52d birthday in Maputo on 9 July. A law graduate born in Valencia, Lopez Busquets has previously been on post in Algeria but never in sub-Saharan Africa. On the other hand, he has already been in charge of African affairs during his diplomatic career as deputy director of cooperation with Central, Eastern and Western Africa for the Agencia Espanola de Cooperacion Internacional (AECI).
