The World and the Worldliness in Contemporary Chinese Art
Join Dr Red Chan, Senior Teaching Fellow at the Centre for Translation and Comparative Cultural Studies, University of Warwick , for a talk which explores how works in the China China China!!! exhibition can reveal the link between China and the rest of the world. Red will discuss the political and cultural issues which have affected and influenced contemporary Chinese artists.

Don't miss this opportunity to see a performance of Xu Zhen's Just in a Blink of an Eye. Suspended in mid motion the performers appear to be frozen in time, captured as if they are collapsing to the ground. This unique performance has been described as 'exhilarating, as if the viewer has been liberated from the constraints of time and physics.'
