LOCAL ELECTIONS

Final local election results will be announced this afternoon (Thursday 4 Dec) by the National Elections Commission (CNE). TVM reports that the CNE has agreed that the must be a second round in Nacala for the election of a mayor, and that Frelimo does not have a majority in the Beira assembly.
